Soft Gifts, Strong Hearts: Subaru Loves to Care - Grace F
A blanket may seem like a simple gift, but on a quiet afternoon at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, it became a symbol of comfort, compassion, and community. Thanks to the Subaru Loves to Care initiative, dozens of warm, soft blankets were hand-delivered to cancer patients currently undergoing treatment, offering not only physical warmth but also emotional strength. Partnering with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), Subaru representatives visited the hospital with arms full of care packageseach one containing a blanket, a message of encouragement, and the quiet yet powerful reminder: 'You are not alone.' As volunteers and staff moved through the infusion rooms and patient wings, they gently placed the blankets in the hands and laps of patients, some in the middle of chemotherapy, others resting between treatments. For many, it was more than a gesture. It was a moment of connection during a time that often feels isolating. It's not just a blanket, said one patient, holding back tears. Its a reminder that someone out there is rooting for me, even if they dont know me. The room was filled with soft smiles and quiet conversations as Subaru team members sat with patients, listened to their stories, and offered words of encouragement. Some patients wrapped the blankets around their shoulders immediately. Others tucked them beside them, clutching the included note cards with messages like Keep fighting. You are strong. This visit was part of Subaru's nationwide Loves to Care campaign, which emphasizes giving back to those battling serious illness by offering small acts of kindness with lasting impact. Since the program began, tens of thousands of blankets and handwritten notes have been shared with cancer patients nationwide. Hospital staff shared how much these gestures mean to the people they serve. Cancer treatment can feel long and exhausting, said a volunteer nurse, but something as simple as a blanketa soft, warm embracecan lift someones spirit and remind them that the world hasnt forgotten them. As the Subaru team prepared to leave, one volunteer summed up the experience perfectly: We may not know what each patient is going through, but today, we hope they felt seen, supported, and deeply cared for. In a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially in the face of illness, the Subaru Loves to Care initiative offers a much-needed message: You matter. You are loved. Keep going.
Built with Love, Framed by Hope - Grace F
Under a bright summer sky, the scent of fresh paint still lingering in the air, a beautiful two-bedroom house stood proudly on the corner of Maple and 10th Street. But this wasnt just any houseit was a home built on hope, hard work, and a communitys shared commitment to lifting one another. Over the past several months, dozens of volunteers gathered day after day at the future home of the Golden family, working alongside Habitat for Humanity staff to bring a dream to life. The journey was long and at times challenging, but every hour spent hammering, painting, installing, and landscaping was filled with purpose and care. Its more than just building a house, said the site coordinator. Its building a future. Volunteers came from all across the communitylocal churches, schools, companies, and familiesdonating countless hours and gallons of sweat equity. Teams raised walls, hung drywall, painted bedrooms, installed cabinets and doors, laid some grass, and planted trees. One weekend, a group stayed late to finish painting the kitchen walls a cheerful light yellow, chosen by the Goldens to reflect warmth and joy. Another crew carefully installed the front door, knowing it would one day welcome friends, birthdays, holiday meals, and milestones yet to come. On dedication day, the sun beamed down on a crowd of smiling faces. Balloons swayed gently in the wind, and neighbors stood alongside volunteers, staff, and supporters to celebrate a new beginning. The Golden family stood in front of their new home, overwhelmed with gratitude. This house is a dream come true for us, said Ms. Golden, holding her youngest child in her arms. We are so thankful for every single person who helped build this with love. You didnt just build us a homeyou gave us hope and stability. With applause and cheers, Scott Fink handed the Golden family their keys. It was more than a simple handoffit was a symbol of new opportunities, safe nights, and brighter tomorrows. For the staff who lifted a hammer, planted a flower, or offered encouragement, the dedication marked the beautiful result of unity and compassion. And for the Golden family, it was the first page of a brand-new chapterwritten by hard work, community spirit, and the kindness of strangers who became friends. As the crowd began to disperse, one volunteer summed it up best: We came to build a house, but we ended up building a home. And thats what matters.

Subaru Retailers Team Up to Support Hurricane Relief Efforts - Jess M
At Subaru of Wesley Chapel, were always ready to step up and support our communities, especially in times of crisis. This commitment is at the heart of the Subaru Love Promise®. When Hurricanes Helene and Milton devastated the Eastern region, Subaru retailers like us immediately sprang into action. Alongside other Subaru retailers, Subaru of America, and local organizations, we assessed the most urgent needs in the affected areas. It quickly became clear that local food banks were struggling to keep up with the surge in demand as they worked to support people hit hardest by the storms. In response, we teamed up with 67 Subaru retailers across the region to launch a $400,000 match campaign to aid the hurricane relief efforts of Feeding America®. Subaru of Wesley Chapel proudly contributed $30000 to this initiative. While the immediate impact of the storms fades from the headlines, many of our neighbors continue to face long-term challenges like food insecurity, water shortages, power outages, and limited access to essential services. Thanks to the collective generosity of Subaru retailers and the communities we serve, an additional $18,427 was raised. This brings the total impact to $418,427, or over 4,100,000 meals for those in need. "As one of the nation's largest disaster relief organizations, the Feeding America network of food banks and partner agencies is deeply rooted in communities across the country. Together, our partnership with trusted Subaru dealers has helped expedite emergency food assistance and supplies to people who need it most. We are immensely grateful," said Feeding America Chief Development Officer Casey Marsh.
